Mid-South Fly Fishers
Education - Conservation - Fellowship
Duane Hada has been asked to create a mural that celebrates Dave Whitlock, the wild brown Trout populations he helped create as well as the beauty of the White and Little Red rivers. Dave was a friend of MSFF, a great fly fisher, innovator and conservationist that created many of the quality fisheries we enjoy in the Ozarks today. Duane has the full support and blessing of Emily Whitlock, who thinks it is a wonderful tribute to Dave and is excited to see it come about.
There will be a ribbon cutting/celebration after the mural is completed to include all the individuals, families and businesses that donated to make this mural happen. We will be inviting fly fishing magazines, the news media, radio and local newspapers and friends across the continent. The ribbon cutting/celebration event will be advertised and shared with the media to recognize those that donated to make the mural happen. The mural will be located on Central Blvd in Bull Shoals.
We would be honored if you would contribute and help MSFF share in honoring Dave Whitlock’s life and legacy.
