Mid-South Fly Fishers Member Spotlight:
Frank Dawson grew up in Memphis, graduated from Memphis State, was an Air Force fighter pilot, became an avid fly fisherman/tyer, and managed a guide school in Montana. Recently Frank decided it was time to significantly (but not completely) reduce his extensive inventory of fly fishing gear, books, and tying materials. You may have seen some of it at the Expo and Christmas party. We want to thank Frank for his generous donation to MSFF and hope to fulfill his wish of getting it into the hands of fly fishers and fly tyers who can put it to good use. Mission Statement

The mission and purpose of the Mid-South Fly Fishers is to improve and increase the sport of fly fishing in the Mid-South; to encourage and advocate conservation in the waters of the Mid-South; to encourage and assist others to become fly fishers; to promote the pleasure and fellowship of its members; and to engage in such activities as may be necessary and expedient for the achievement of the above stated purposes.
