Introduction to Fly Fishing
The next Mid-South Fly Fishers Introduction to Fly Fishing class will be held on Saturday October 26th at Hope Church. If you have ever wanted to learn about fly fishing, brush up on some casting skills or refresh the basics, then come and join us.
Following the class we will be heading to a private pond where there will be 1-2 hrs of casting instruction, after which you can try your new found skills and catch some bass and bream.
The following Saturday (November 2nd) will be part 2 of the class and we will be going to the Spring River where you will get a chance to do some trout fishing (weather permitting), under the watchful tutelage of more experienced club members.
Light refreshments will be available on October 26th in the form of donuts, coffee and bottle water.
If you have a rod and reel already you can bring that with you to the class, if not don't worry, the club has rods you can use.
Door prizes will be presented during the class, so make sure you get your raffle ticket when you come for the class.
The cost of the class is $35 per person for non-members and is free to MSFF club members.
