About this event
Join us Thursday, Sept. 5 @ 6 p.m. at Orvis - Memphis to learn about current research on the Little Red River by Dr. Steve Lochmann, Professor in the Aquaculture and Fisheries Department at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Dr. Lochmann has been conducting fisheries research in Arkansas for more than 30 years with numerous research projects on behalf of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, including Brown Trout research on the Greers Ferry Tailwater. He has collaborated with more than a dozen management and hatchery biologists on projects ranging from supplemental stocking and telemetry to conservation culture and angler creel surveys.
Come get an update about current research on one of our beloved home rivers, and learn more about what we can do to conserve our natural resource.
Fellowship begins at 6:00 p.m. with beverages and snacks provided. Bring your own dinner if desired. Dr. Lochmann's presentation will begin at 6:45 p.m. and will be available for questions before and after his talk.
The event is free and open to the public, but please sign up so we can plan adequately. Everyone who signs up by 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, will be entered into a free drawing (must be present to win).
